DETOUR Training modules now in open access in 6 languages

The DETOUR training platform continues to expand its open and inclusive approach to capacity building in sustainable and accessible tourism, making all learning materials freely available in six languages. From 1st July, the platform offers a modular training pathway comprising 6 learning modules, totaling 30 hours of flexible, self-paced learning. Each module is designed to support tourism stakeholders, SMEs, and local actors in improving their skills in green, digital, and inclusive tourism development. All training content is available in Italian (IT), English (EN), Greek (EL), Turkish (TR), and Bulgarian (BG), ensuring wide accessibility across the project’s pilot countries.

The learning experience is enriched through multimedia and interactive materials, including videos, infographics, interactive presentations, and external resources for further study. A dedicated discussion forum is also integrated into the platform, allowing users to exchange best practices and build international networking opportunities. A key feature of the system is its dual-access model: users can access the platform in Guest Mode, with immediate, free access to all learning materials and handouts, with no registration required. In this mode, however, progress tracking and quiz results are not saved, and no certification can be obtained.

By choosing the Registered Access, users unlock the full learning experience, including progress tracking, assessment results storage, and the issuance of 6 official completion Open Badges. Each module successfully completed through a final quiz automatically generates an Open Badge DETOUR certification, validating acquired skills and competences.
